Rosasite was originally discovered in 1908 by Domenico Lovisato in the Rosas Mine in Sardinia, Italy. It is a rare copper zinc carbonate hydroxide mineral that crystallizes in the form of spheres, botryoidal, and rarely, tiny crystals over matrix. Fibrous blue-green Rosasite crystals are usually found in globular aggregates often associated with red limonite and other colorful minerals. This mineral usually forms on Red Limonite and can be found in Australia, Chile, Italy, Germany, Mexico, Iran, and the USA.
Rosasite improves the state of the emotional body and an excellent stone for use in body layouts for self healing or activation of higher states of awareness.
Rosasite is a crystal of knowledge and remembering. A Heart and Throat chakra crystal. The throat chakra is the voice of the body.
