It is commonly seen as a pale blue/grey but it can also be colorless, white, green, yellow, orange or red/brown.
The blue/grey color is usually in a cluster formation and is from Madagascar. Other varieties include forms from Ohio, which are tabular points, and Californian, which are pseudomorphic masses.
