Healerite is the name given to a newly discovered magnesium-silicate mineral (possibly a form of Chrysolite) from the Northwestern USA. It has a monoclinic crystal system and a hardness of 2.5 to 4. It is a bright lime-green color and occurs in amorphous chunks ranging from a few grams to several kilos in weight. It has a soft feeling in the hand and is pleasant to hold.
